Working on a Master’s Degree
My mom used to be a teacher. She taught special education for three years. Last year, however, she was laid off from her job. She tried to find another teaching position, but was unable to. Finally, she had to take a job at a call center to support her five children who remained at home. The problem with that, though, is that she will lose her teaching license if isn’t either teaching or continuing to take at least one class a year. She was worried for a while, until she found a graduate-level university that used a Learning Management System. She is now working on getting her master’s degree, and really enjoying it.
