It’s very technical — but it works
Have you had a chance to experience the latest speech recognition systems for routing and filtering of incoming customer calls? The technology behind it is very amazing — when you speak into your telephone, your voice will be transmitted to a computer system. This specialized system is designed to break down speech into its smallest possible forms. Having done this, the system can then tag and identify what has been said against a list of phrases, in order to identify the most likely match. I certainly don’t understand all of the technical aspects of this new generation of software — all I know is that it works.
