Do We Need Parental Control Software?
Do we really need parental control software like Net Nanny Software? Net Nanny monitors your child’s access to the Internet and allows you to block pages you don’t want them to see. Statistics from 2007 show that one in five children received some sort of mild solicitation for sex via the Internet; one in thirty-three children were pursued aggressively; one in four children were exposed to images of people having sex on the Internet and one in seventeen children were harassed or bullied via the Internet. Even in the light of these statistics, some parents feel that it is morally wrong to spy on our children. I feel it is job, no it is our duty, to protect them. Do you think they are going to come to you if they think they are doing something wrong?
