Yikes, My Handlebar Came Off of My Bicycle
When you are going to go on a long bike ride or even a short one, you need to check your bicycle handlebar to make sure that it is in the correct position and that the bolt holding it onto the bike is tight. If it isn’t, you may have a very unpleasant ride.
Most bikes need a special wrench to loosen and tighten the handlebar bolt. One time my sister and I were riding, and her handlebar became extremely loose to the point where it was unsafe for her to ride. Fortunately, someone else along the trail had a tool that worked to tighten the bolt. Good thing, too; because she would have had quite a long walk back!
