Why Training More Won’t Give You More Muscle
If you’re already doing weight training three times a week and you want more muscle than you have now, how do you get it? Do you work out more often, increase the intensity of your workout, or both? The No Nonsense Muscle Building Review recommends the book that can answer that question in more detail, but the short answer is that intensity is more important than frequency. Increasing your weight training intensity will challenge your muscles and promote their growth. However, training too frequently won’t give your body time to recover from one session to the next and can actually backfire, causing you to lose instead of gain muscle.
