The PVC air compressor hose
One of the best kinds of air compressor hose is the PVC otherwise known as Polyvinyl chloride hose. This air compressor hose is made of highly durable and flexible polymer compound, normally reinforced with spirally woven synthetics for added super strength. PVC is one of the most popular thermoplastic polymer used for many air compressor hoses because of its ability to withstand outstanding pressures reaching up to 145 psi. The outer and inner layer of a high quality air compressor hose can be made of PVC polymer. Some manufacturers have perfected a patented method of braid reinforcement that increases the amount of oil resistance, compared to a normal PVC hose. These are quite pricy but provide the best industrial application for this lightweight yet highly flexible hose.
