The Evolution of Electronic Dog Collars
When electronic dog collars were developed over 30 years ago, they were very different than today’s collars. The durability and reliability of these collars were much less than today’s collars, the transmitters were only capable of emitting one level of correction, and the collars were very bulky and awkward. Today’s models are much improved; the old bulky collars are now smaller, very ergonomic, and very durable. They are made to last a long time with extended amount of use. The transmitters now have the ability to change levels of correction so that you can change this according to your individual dog’s needs. Thank goodness for research and customer feedback, these collars are amazing training tools.
