What Is Fitness?
What exactly is fitness?
Is fitness being able to run a marathon in under 2 1/2 hours, or is fitness a certain resting pulse rate and a certain amount of body fat?
It’s interesting to consider what exactly fitness is, before you start a fitness regimen.
I would agree that the vast majority of people, especially in United States of America, are out of shape.
But if we don’t know what fitness is, how will we know when we are in shape?
I find it interesting that a bunch of fitness models and doctors with college degrees, want to drum it into our heads.
But what exactly are they trying to accomplish when their definition of fitness is something that almost nobody is ever going to reach?
I think it more reasonable to assume that fitness is to be defined individually by each person themselves.
And if they are happy with their health and their body, that should be the definition of fitness for them.
