Over the course of the last decade or so, there has been an ongoing upheaval happening within the prescription drug industry. People who have been financially devastated by high prescription drug prices have done desperate things like importing prescription drugs from other countries. A lot of that has changed with the online discountpharmacy. Today there are a couple hundred online pharmacies that offer competitive prices and are also legal. I’ve even seen one that offers $3.99 generic prescriptions to keep up with the major retailers who began offering $4 generic prescriptions at their pharmacies in response to the prescription drug cost crisis. If that website also offers free shipping, a lot of us will really have it made.
