Do You Have A Migraine Or A Cluster Headache?
There are several different types of headache including sinus headaches, tension headaches, ocular headaches and of course migraine and cluster headaches. But how do you know just what sort of headache you are suffering from? Diagnosing headaches can be quite difficult and so it is a good idea to start by keeping a headache diary and then, once you have several entries, taking it along to your doctor so that he can cast his professional eye over it. Record in your diary such things as when you headache starts, how long it lasts, where you feel the pain, what sort of pain you feel and how severe that pain is. Also keep a record of what you were doing in the hours before your headache started, including details of what you ate and drank. With this information your doctor will normally be able to diagnose your headache fairly easily.
