Using 0845 numbers to track your website visitors
If you are looking for a way to track the number of visitors you are getting to your website you can use a number of statistics packages, analytics is free and very popular. The problem with these sorts of tracking programs is that they do not tell you if people have attempted to call you on the telephone, using 0845 numbers on your website will allow you to see where in the country people called you from, some companies use software that allows you to see the number that called you, the duration of the call and using mapping software they will show you where in the country the call came from.
