5 Questions To Ask Before Hiring A Commercial Collection Agency
When it is time to hire a commercial collection agency to collect from those deadbeat clients that are refusing to make their payments, it is always wise to ask the collection agency the following questions before getting involved:
Does your company carry insurance or have a bond posted that can cover me if your service does not live up to one of the many rules, codes, and laws that the commercial collection agencies must follow?
Does your company put my collected money into a trust account with my name on it until it is time to send me my money?
Has your company been in business for longer than five years?
Does your company have access to an attorney that they can recommend me to if your services do not work and I need to take my debtor to court?
Does your company continue to charge me monthly fees if my debtor has been searched for and can’t be found?
