A lack of snow and ice means business suffers for auto body shops in Wisconsin

In local auto body news auto repair shops are suffering this winter season. Winter in Wisconsin has been extremely mild this year. The lack of snow and ice has caused a drop-off in vehicles needing auto part replacements and auto body repairs. In normal winters, Wisconsin auto shops regularly see bumper replacements and other collision related repairs frequently. The invention of anti-lock brakes, GPS navigation units, and all around safer vehicles has impacted the industry. Regardless of all this new equipment winter months usually see an increase in revenue due to hazardous conditions. Although this may be bad news for the repair shops I’m sure customers will not be complaining.
