To gossip or not to gossip
Gossip is literally talking about other people, the going ons of other people or relaying something with your own perceptive twist. The problem with gossip is that the original information often gets changed along the way. Like the game telephone the information changes as different people relay it. This is because we all have our own perceptions and understandings, not to mention motivations of what things mean. Celebrity Gossip however is often more about showing human frailty than changing anything. The things that to normal people would be boring seem to be more interesting when they happen to celebrities. Often the simpler the gossip the more believable.
