Stories always help to understand
If I want my children, particularly the younger of the three, to understand the more important messages from the bible, I’ve found bible stories for children are particularly useful. Most of the lessons I come across are pitched too high and too advanced for a younger child but some are just right, having taken the most important messages from the Old testament and the New testament and boiled them down into an interesting, informative and most importantly inspirational audio for them to listen to. I like to play them before bed so the stories get into their minds and get worked on over night so they stick better.
