Children Like Craft Projects
Children like craft projects that use bright colors and big shapes that are easy to handle. For some reason children love to glue things and tape things together. One of my favorite children craft ideas is decorating paper plates and turning them into masks. The circles are already cut the same size when you buy the stack of plates. You can start with white plates, or a variety of colored paper plates and let the children pick their favorite color. You can make face stencils for the kids to trace onto the plates. These should include the mouth nose and eyes. The children will need to cut these out if they are old enough, or they should be cut out in advance. Then let the children glue bright objects all over the masks.
