Quilting is one of my favorite hobby’s.  I have been doing it for about 5 years now.  My husband even bought me a fancy sewing machine for Christmas one year.  I am teaching myself so I am always looking for information and tips.  My Friend told me they have a quilting chat room.  She gave me the link and I checked it out for myself. I had never been in a chat room. There where so may topics to choose from.  There was even a Tattoo Chat Room, and boating chat room. The chat rooms are fun and informational.  I am working on a beautiful log cabin quilt now.

It’s funny how you sometimes find solutions when you least expect them. Last night I got an e-mail from a friend of mine. He owns a cat that is similar to the cat my wife has owned for the past four years. In his e-mail my friend told me about some things that could help with my wife’s cat. My wife’s little cat has bad cat constipation. This problem has been going off and on for the past six weeks. Because of this my wife has gone on the Internet and look at some remedies for her cat’s problem. Later that day I showed my wife the e-mail from my friend.

My sister-in-law has had so many cats over the course of her lifetime that I think she is qualified to write a cat owner manual. She is a very responsible cat lover and only keeps two or three cats in her house at one time. Thankfully, she isn’t one of those people who end up with dozens of felines roaming all over and making a mess of the house. I think she has had almost every type of cat as a pet: longhaired cats, shorthaired cats, Persian, Burmese and calico cats ‘ you name the breed, she’s had one. My personal favorite was a delicate little Siamese named Fluffy, who was as charming and coquettish as she could be. Each cat had a different personality and distinctive needs, so she learned a great deal about caring for cats over the years. That’s why I suggested she put together a cat owner manual and try to distribute it over the Internet. Since I’m a pretty good writer, I told her I’d help her with the research, writing and distribution. I think she is actually going to do it! I know if I needed a cat owner manual, she’s the person I’d feel is most qualified to share her experiences.

I have a good friend who is scared to use chat rooms to communicate with others. I am in the process of converting her to such use. We are both Latter Day Saints, and we like to interact with people from the same faith. I have found a great way to do that via LDS chat City. The mastiff is one breed of dog that can be used by law enforcement personnel for SAR rescue. SAR stands for Search and Recovery. The rescue, be it a mastiff rescue or a rescue by any of the other SAR trained dogs is accomplished by years of training and dog handling beginning at the age of about 8 to 10 weeks and lasting the dog’s life until his retirement at about 5 to 10 years of age.
