Have you face this problem before about whether the advice is to be taken ot not? Especially, if the advice comes from an elder that are very close to you. This is really the hardest hard about taking care of baby. When an elder would to make a comment about doing certain thing for the baby and you know that it is not really recommended in  those "guide books", what should you do? For us, we tried to sooth things out by highlighting our way of doing things but for my cousins, she simply rebutted the advice. Which might not be a good idea, since there would come times when you need favors from these elders…

I am pregnant with my first child. I do not know yet what I am having, and my husband and I have decided that we don’t want to know until the baby is born. We want it to be a surprise. We are in the process of decorating the nursery. There are many different styles of crib bedding that can be used for either a girl or a boy, so buying crib bedding will not be a problem. We won’t have to wait until the baby is born to see if we need pink or blue bedding. I think I am going to get Disney crib bedding. It is very cute, and I love all of the characters.

It is true that we all live in a global economy nowadays. This can have many good effects but also many bad effects. The good effects are typically things like lower prices from a larger supply chain, more choices because of an open market, and increased quality due to competition. While the good effects are quite appealing, they might just be overshadowed by the bad effects. The bad effects include the forcing out of local business, monopolistic like corporate control, and under that control, less choice than previously. The main issue is the pushing local business out of the market because most are small family run operations and that is what this country was built upon.

After reading through the iDemise Guide for World of Warcraft again, I am beginning to think that I should have given it an even higher rating on my website. Compared to more expensive (and even more popular guides) I think it delivers way more value. I go through this on my site, but I think the addition of a MapMod (so you can read the guide in-game) makes this a really cool product.

I have heard about RFID chips, and that they are used in conjuction with RFID readers in order to track different objects, and that they use radio frequencies in order to do this, but how do they work? What is a Radio Frequency Identification reader? How does it track the RFID chip? Can one RFID reader be used to track a bunch of different things with RFID chips in, or do you need a separate RFID reader programmed to work with each different chip? I am really curious about how these things work, but when I try to look it up I usually find really technical, hard to understand explanations.

My family goes camping quite a bit. I love to wear fleece when we go camping. It is comfortable, and it keeps me warm. We usually go camping in the summer, but we have been known to start camping in the spring and not quit camping until the fall. Spring and fall evenings can be quite chilly. When I wear fleece, I stay nice and warm. I bought two women’s fleece jackets for the camping trips that we will be taking this year.

You are really excited about updating that tired old kitchen. But what to do about those cabinets? They are straight out of the 1970′s with their dark stain and ornate hard wear. Do you replace them or look into kitchen cabinet refinishing? Hum, that is a good question. The insides of the cabinets are still in good shape and all of the drawers work properly. If you get them refinished you can have them stained to match your kitchen table. That would be nice because the fact that they don’t match drives you nuts. It also seems refinishing will help to save some money and that always sounds good.

We are in need of a new minivan. With two girls that are in school and in tae kwon do classes, we need the room a minivan offers for all their class projects and their martial arts equipment.

In the name of green we are researching our options for a hybrid minivan. Not just for the sake of the environment but for our pocket book as well thanks to the high price of gas!

However, in our search for a hybrid minivan we found that there are non in the US yet.
Toyota has one in the Japanese market and we hope to see one here before 2009.

I would like to get my husband and I matching pendants with the date of our wedding in Roman numerals. It’s such a significant date, and Roman numerals look kind of cool. Hopefully he won’t think couple jewelry like that is too hokey, but he is pretty sentimental so I think he probably would like it. He ends up wearing his wedding ring more than I do so far (I keep getting swollen fingers from being pregnant). Roman numerals would look nicer I think than regular numbers. I will have to ask my husband before buying them just to make sure he would actually wear it.

My kids had gotten some model horses for gifts from family members. They didn’t have any accesories to go with the horses so I looked on the Breyer horses website. I found that they have stables and other types of add ons that I could get for my kids. Now that everything has arrived my kids have a whole horses farm set up on my dining room table! Now they want more horses and more add ons for the “ranch” as they call it. I think if this continues I am going to have to go out and get a bigger table…
